Hi, my name is Rooie,
and sometimes we stop.
But not for long.

We found this place by accident —
all yellow, like it was trying to get our attention.

No one said it,
but we all knew we were going in.

My friends ordered first.
I changed my mind twice.

Someone laughed.
Someone spilled a little.
Someone said, don’t move.

I moved anyway.

Because that’s the thing about us —
we don’t really sit still.
